This is a great portrait! If I had made this shot I'd be champing at the bit to make a print in my darkroom. Judging from your scan of this neg, it should be quite easy to print.

A very characterful portrait, Heli, the thumbnail jumps out at you straight away. He has real presence, and great connection with the viewer. He has a certain air of Rasputin about him - though I'm sure he's really very kindly! - I think it's the black that helps this, as I guess is your intention! I think I might personally prefer a very slight suggestion of his shoulders, though I see why you have chosen to do it like this aswell. Excellent.
