Silverprint in Caffenol

Used caffenol-c-h as print developer for this print. (see http://caffenol.blogspot.com for recipe)

It worked very slowly, this print took around 10 minutes to develop (it's supposed to be hazy, as it was taken on a foggy and rainy afternoon. )

This is a scan of the actual print.

Interesting depiction of the scene. I have not seen a print developed in caffenol before. Thanks for taking the time to post the image.

Nice one Ole Henrik. I too will when I finally get round to clearing out the cellar and build my darkroom, be trying caffenol as a print developer. If you need some advice on the subject, John (jnanian) is a treasure trove of information.

Thank you for your comments ^^

I'll check to see if there is more punch in other caffenol mixes, because the negative looks a bit more contrasty than the print....experiment....experiment....experiment.... =D
Thank you for the tip Ezzie, I'll look him up if I run into issues with the standard recipes.
- I use my bathroom as a darkroom at the moment, while my toilet is the place to develop film, no girlfriend/wife would ever approve, so I'm glad that I'm currently not involved, haha ^^

Very mysterious feel. I like the Caffenol developer too. My wife can disapprove all she wants. The dog loves me and is always happy to see me.

In my mind is this print, I imagined a dark mysterious horse galloping through the mist in the distance..

thanks for sharing this..
