Silke

Silke

Another portrait of Silke, one of the participants at the 2011 Photostock. She is an incredible photographer in her own right, and focuses on environmental portraits featuring herself as part of the scene. With an interesting face, intelligence, and a wonderful personality, she was most gracious to stop for a minute to let me make a portrait of her.

Thanks for looking,

- Thomas

very sensitive portrait, one that seems to portray a lot of emotion

This photograph is simply wonderful. She is wonderful with those large, dark, brooding eyes and you are wonderful for having captured such a dynamic image...

Kodabromide!!! Wow. Nice shot and print. Agree with all of the above. I'm wondering, was that 150 mm lens?

Thanks everyone!

Yeah, the Kodabromide paper expired in 1958. This was an open package with four sheets in it. I wish I would have been around when this stuff was fresh.

riveting portrait Thomas

Before reading the comments, I thought "stieglitz" too.

Perhaps she'd be flattered to be mistaken for G. O'keefe.
