That is just fantastic! Love it.

Is that mottling effect part of the paper, or your development process? It doesn't quite look like the dreaded snowball effect but it clearly affects all parts of the print (although with this image is not distracting at all).

@mooseontheloose I get this sometimes when the dev gets exhausted. I wish I understood better exactly why so I could do it more! I like it a lot in certain prints so long as it doesn't get into skin areas too much. I have much better examples of this that I'll post soon. I wrote moersch above but now I realize it was Arista 1:15/fomatone 131. I've actually stopped using Arista because I couldn't find a cure for the little white spots all over the print. I have a big stack of otherwise good prints with these spots all over them and I could never figure out why. I still get 2 or 3 with other developers but at least I can spot them out.

I love it! Sometimes the imperfections make it perfect! This could be an image from 1920's.

@Devorobin That's interesting. I don't usually print with 133 (usually 131 or 132) but I have vintage stock that doesn't exhibit these problems (not that I'm using them at the moment, as I'm saving them for a particular project). I also have some Arista waiting to be mixed but I am wondering how it will work out with the newer papers I do have. I agree that sometimes these artifacts can enhance a print, but it's frustrating that it can't always be predicted or be controlled in any way.
