Definitely a cool shot. I like the subtle modeling/shading in the pale leaves (which I assume are actually quite green).

Yes, in real life they're a medium green - not pine tree deep green, but darker than fresh grass or spring leaves.

It looks as if they have all turned to listen to somebody who is just out of sight. An almost "Day of the Triffids" scene

It is a very "day of the triffids" kind of photo. Simultaneously serene, surreal and sinister. Just don't let them know you're there
