yes, i was a bit put off by the lack of speaker grills when i first bought them, but the sound that comes out of them more than makes up for their "mechanical" look.
@Hans Mulders believe it or not, much sharper before uploading to apug. even though i follow the guidelines for size, something wonky always happens when i upload.
