SHOPPING IS A STRUGGLE

Often you see a subject framed by lines, texture or dark areas. But in this, the man is surrounded on all sides by red. There is also the relentless repetition of the red and yellow and the "Save" signs adding to the sense that shopping might be an onerous experience.
