Out in the Half Dark of British Winter, I gave my 1965 LEICA M2 an outing with the 1988 35mm f1.4 Summilux lens. Here I saw the man framed and got off one frame at full aperture f1.4

I 'burnt in' that light area around him on the Print but it was not long enough extra exposure --i good 'test' of Subject Brightness Range. I find if the Summilux Photos are over-exposed the detail is very soft.
