Looks like you've a fair amount of time in the western part of the US, @Reinhold (as well as all over the world). I checked out your flickr pages but didn't see any images of the railroad museum in Sacramento, California. Highly recommended, if you ever get over that way.

. . Hi Ken, I'm aware of the Sacramento museum, It's on my bucket list.
In Portland we have a couple of beauties we send out on the road (rails) now and then.
SP#4449 "Daylighter" and SP&S #700 (my favorite) which passes a couple of hundred feet behind my house on it's way East thru the Columbia River Gorge. I get head-to-toe goosebumps every time...
