Nice!

Well done.

Again, such heavy praise from those whose work I really admire. This might go to my head and make me think I know what I'm doing. Thank you all. I'm serious, all of you are really wonderful photographers, and I am truly humbled.

This is really composed well . Love the texture and the range too !

As you have put this on the critique gallery, may I add my thoughts? I agree with all the comments above, as it is a splendid shot from a good angle. However, the reflective pattern in the metal is so intriguing that I would suggest a closer shot that maybe disguised what the subject is. For all I know you may have probably taken such a shot while there. The exposure and tonal qualities are bang on and reflective subjects like this are very difficult to photograph, as in effect you are photographing what is reflected. Great shot and well done.

I disagree with the above post . I think your image is wonderfull composed. But I am a bit put off by abstracts in general.

Wings over the Rockies is an incredible museum. The whole wall to the right is east-facing glass and this was taken in pretty late summer afternoon using an incident meter. When I get back there, if this plane is still in the same location, I might give an abstract a try.
