Shelter on a mountain pass

I see how you wanted that gritty look given where the hut is. Somehow this doesn't quite work for me. As the viewer and not the photographer, I don't know the context of where this building is in the landscape. I don't know whether this is a crop from the negative but it might have more impact with more foreground and less sky.

My first thought when looking at this photo, before reading the comments, was ..... this looks like Iceland! You've captured the atmosphere really well. I like this photo a lot.
