Shelter Island

It looks fine in this scene but has a distinct blue/cyan cast to it that may or may not reflect the real colours on the day.

Crop out half the beach, and this is improved a lot for me.

Jovo - Many thanks for the suggestion. It seems you are always able to find a way to improve a photo. pentax - You are right! With that kind of sky there is almost always blue cast, especially in the shadows. I should have adjusted the balance before posting. This was just before the magic hour. Another one in this group was taken just a few minutes later and had a completely different light.
