Still working on a Pt/Pd print of this, not quite there yet. My problem: I love the kozo, but can't quite get an even enough coat. I will persist, but these are pricey experiments! Back to COT320 next I guess.
Anyway this print is quite different in feeling than the scan, opinions from anyone who remembers that one...?
Keith- I see you're really getting the paper fibers in your print area. I'm wondering what you are using to coat this, and how hard you're brushing it on. To get the even enough coat, you may need to just bite the bullet and use more solution, brushing less vigorously, to spread it around enough.
That's true Scott, I do need to use more solution.... and more patience too! Recently I tried heavily prehumidifying my paper and that helped a lot. But... still getting fibers here and there. I looked at my neg and it is picking up a bit of fiber so maybe it's just a simple issue of letting the paper dry out completely. That's hard to do when the paper is presteamed.... takes forever to dry out completely.
Could be that my brush is too rough. Guess I will need to buy "the" brush.
