Michael, I like the tones in this. The way the light shimmers on the shell is very nice. Would love to see the print.

Jim,
it's funny how you say that. If you look at my past prints one of the first ones I posted is the brother to this one. It was done in slit grade using bromide paper. the highlights could not be brought down to where the Pt/Pd print has them. You can see the latitude of Pt/Pd printing over Bromide when you look at both.

This is a beautiful match of neg and process Michael. The black is so dense it's pulling me into the monitor and the highlight detail is gorgeous.
Nothing I've run across can begin to match the range of Pt/Pd although I hear azo may come close..?

I use both Azo and Pt/Pd and I can say that Pt/Pd has a longer tonal range, but Azo is in a class of it's own when it comes to standard B&W papers.
