I've looked at the thumbnail often & full size a few times. I like it, and couldn't figure out why it didn't hit me harder. 'Turns out, its just pure & simple bias. I did a similar shot differently - that's the bias. There's a ton of stuff here I like better. I find all the space to the right of the staircase dilutes the main point for me. The stair & shadow are what screams at me. Those two by themselves would be hard-hitting. The shadow by itself would be. Its really sweet. 35 would be super to re-capture just the two elements, should you ever get the itch. Its a very cool shot.
How did I miss this one?? I love it! If you crop in really tight, so you just see the shadow of the stairs, the stairs, and maybe just passed the middle electrical box, you'll have a wonderful Escher-like image!
