I like the long Alfred Hitchcock shadow, colour rendition as well as the small yacht just in sight and just above the white rail around the hut. It's easy to overlook or get wrong such details. Interesting that even with a polariser Provia isn't over saturated and can distinguish between the sea and the land. I wonder how well Velvia would have differentiated.
The UK magazine Amateur Photographer has little of interest these days for an analogue photoprapher but recently it ran a good article with photographs involving seascapes on Velvia, Astia and Provia and none were taken in particularly contrasty conditions where you'd have thought that Velvia would have come out best but in my opinion Velvia's rendition of the sea was especially unrealistic in terms of its colour.
