I know this place. It's every anonymous airport or melancholy hotel lobby I've ever passed through. If you have a moment to spare you look into the faces, missing here, of people you have never seen before, and will never see again. Those encounters happen every day of our lives, but we never pause to think of them in those terms.

This photograph makes me pause and think of them in those terms...
 
Indeed -- wow, I wish I could be as eloquent in describing images. That is indeed what it feels like to be here...a feeling you get a lot when travelling. Thank you.
 
Fabulous shot. Ken is right - there is something "other worldly" about being a stranger in another place - especially with jet lag thrown in for good measure ~ Martin
