Seward Harbor

Named after William H. Seward, United States Secretary of State under Abraham Lincoln, who in 1867 fought for the U.S. purchase of Alaska which he finally negotiated to acquire from Russia for $7 million, Seward is one of the more lucrative commercial fisheries in the U.S. Located 126 miles south of Anchorage, it is also a favorite for sport fishermen and tourists.

My first reaction was busy, busy, busy. But the more I looked at it two things popped out for me. One, the triangles from all the sailboats replicate the triangles of the evergreen trees. Two, wonderful range of tones. You captured the highlights beautifully from the snow on the mountains to the sides of the sailboats. Well done.
