Sespe Ferns # 2

I changed the set up a bit and stopped down with my home made waterhouse stops. Still about three feet away. I tend to like this one a little better.

I would certainly go for this one. I found the DOF a bit shallow on the first one. These always make nice subjects, Which believe it or not , are not easy to photograph when it comes to a decent composition. There's always some distracting background etc....Or even the faintest of breezes!

Alan, thankfully it was calm for the 16 minutes it took to get this. It was a bit difficult getting high enough to see the ground glass though. Fortunately there was a rock for me to stand on to focus. I took this as a horizontal but when I printed it I preferred the vertical.
