This must be some cool park. It has so much variety of landscape. I can understand why you go there weekly - what a place! Oh, the image, just another masterfully done photograph, Peter.
Goodness. Tones & clarity are enough to keep me staring for some time. The rock formations almost frame the plant like it was on stage at an ampetheater. 'Wicked nice hard-edged clarity. 'Would be easy to get the impression you never miss.
Thank you ! The rocks you see are the remains of an alkaline stone quarry that fed a cement factory. It was closed in 1987 to protect this amazing ecosystem. Senecio grow here along the edge of surface streams. As to your last comment, I have the opportunity of visiting the park over and over, and correct the mistakes until I get it right. It is like the movie Groundhog Day with a camera.
Peter, the part about correcting mistakes - is so gracious. Thank You! All us struggling wannabes can get discouraged because so often, the mistakes. Hearing an accomplished shooter dealing w/ similar issues is, to my thinking very gracious and quite noble. I sure appreciate it.
