Self Portrait in 1974

I was trying my best to pull off a Jim Morrison look. Didn't quite make it lol. The image was not toned, I printed it at the newspaper I was working at on an Ilford stabilization machine. The images were only suppose to last as long as it took to get them half toned. Amazing this one has lasted.
Location
Calgary, AB

Looks very good, did you print this through the back door to get the writing correct?

Mick.

Glanced at the side-panel and I swear for a few moments I was looking at a young John Travolta. Apparently not.

Many of us had a lot of hair in 1974. In addition to hair, I used an Agfa stab machine heavily. The stab paper had a lot more silver than conventional paper and if fixed and washed at later convenience it doesn't degrade with time...mine looks fine today, nearly 40 years later.
