I've very few good pictures of myself. This one I shot with a tripod and by focussing on a thread hanging by a tack from the ceiling. I aligned my eye with the thread and then pulled it out. This gives very accurate focus for a self-portrait.
Fascinating. The pale colours, the trace amount of grey hair, the look in those eyes (anticipating the shutter?). It makes the viewer imagine what you look like now. What's happened in those 20 years? Almost an entire life in between.
