can you enlarge these by putting them in a negative
carrier ? or are they destined to be contact prints ?

I could enlarge them but I think the actual glass plates are the work of art. I think something will get lost in printing them....I dunno.
 
I think this is great! What an interesting way of using photo materials. Your creativity is impressive.

(Did you put developer on your fingers?)

i agree stephen, glass plates are beautiful ...
it might be fun to experiment and put them in a enlarger to project the WHOLE plate, not just the image on it
( much like people do when they enlarge a full #55 polaroid negative in a 5x7 or 8x10 glass negative carrier to show the whole-edge )
you might be able to keep the edge of the plate ...
