Selenium toning examples - straight print

Following the thread on Ilford Multigrade and selenium toning, this is one of a series of photos demonstrating mild bleaching, and bleach redevelopment prior to toning.

Straight print, no burning or dodging, slightly under-exposed to keep highlights light (for later example of short pre-bleaching with dilute bleach).

Pictures speak a thousand words as they say and these are great examples. In fact you could have written ten thousand and I still wouldn't have picked up the differences as well.

Laid out as 4 thumbnails tells all visually and the details tells us all how it's done.

Greatly appreciated.

Thanks pentaxuser.

I know when I was trying to describe the differences in the aforementioned thread, that I couldn't really visualise the effects from my descriptions, but these scans are pretty close to the actual prints (well - on my monitor anyway ).
