This is an neat series of pictures - was the green cast intentional or no, I kinda like it? I'm also very curious about what is going on with that hard edge on the leaf borders in the backgorund plants. I'm not a C-41 guy so please excuse any ignorance I might be displaying
The cast was not intentional, I am new to C-41. Temperature management is key to this process, and I must admit, I did this without a jobo, and did not provide the consistent temp required. I guess I could think of these as learning experiences. :-(
I like them. The background reminds me of old hand colored pictures and there is a 3-d quality to it that I enjoy. It also has a poster-ish, graphic art look. Maybe not what you were shooting for originally but its interesting in what it became.
Use a tempered water bath when you process the film. Just stick an accurate thermometer in it, pour in hot/cold water as needed to keep it within 0.5 degrees. Easy peasy.
