Sego Palm

Sego Palm

This palm, whic sits in my entry way, began to bloom in early summer. The bloom will give way to the next layer of fronds. My scanner crops the top 1/2 inch off top and bottom. The 8-1/2 x 11 image floats on an 11x14 sheet.

The good news it that it wasn't much of a lug to the front yard. Zabriske Pt. was another matter.
As usual the scan doesn't do the print justice, and the contrast is better on the original.
I just got my shipment of Potassium oxalate today. This should boost contrast, especially with the little jar of potassium dichromate that came along with it.
Question: What is the concentration of KOx? I got the powder, not the solution.
