This is the last of my series about seeing something through a childs eyes. I have posted recently two other photographs of my daughter with wild flowers (aka weeds). I took this photo of her earlier this summer while on a walk and love how the dandelions jagged leaves converse with the beautiful flower (in her eyes). The picture has some technical draws (too contrasty, might be my shadow in the bottom left?, etc), I tried to print it and wasnt too satisfied, but this was the picture that sent me off to this study of seeing things different and inherently beautiful. I have thought about re-shooting this but sometimes in life it is fun to realize that perfect is the enemy of good. It is fulfilling to me that the series is done and to share this photo of what inspired it all, even if it isnt perfect. So with that said, I post this not as a photograph with perfect X, Y, or Z; but a photo of how the act of photography can lead to other joys of artistic discovery which ultimately can yield the feeling that sometimes the act of getting there is as enjoyable as the destination. In this case it was both! Thanks! Andy
