Brady's Beach, Bamfield
I got up before 1st light. I set up for this photo with a small flashlight. Focus and exposure were guesses. By the time I was folding the tripod up after the exposure, it was almost light enough to get a reading of the sky on the light meter.
Matt, thanks for your catch of my mistake. Just too scattered these days. I've edited my posts. I'm quite happy to get a usable neg. It was REALLY dark when I stumbled onto the beach. Bamfield, pop. 300, doesn't caste any glow into the sky.
it be interesting how you will interpret this in printing ....the whole thing seem to be moving , floating.... The trees add to the movement like hair blowing in the wind ....Wonder what you were doing during the ten minute exposure....beautiful
