After an exhausting trudge through 10+ inches of snow yesterday, this was taken at the the point where I decided to turn around for the hour long slog back. My meter decided it was too cold for a reading, and just blinked away as if the light were too bright, so this is a "sunny f16" exposure that came out rather well.
In any case I wish you all a joyous holiday season, and a fulfilling and prosperous new year.
great photographers seem to come away with great photographs when the environment is most foreboding ... this one is no exception .... wonderful John .... wishing you and your family happy holidays also ...
btw your not going to get shots like that down here in Florida
Thank you all for your kind comments. This is now a print I'm really happy with. It'll be on the wall in the show my wife and I will put up in April at the gallery where we're represented.
