Reminds me of that cashier girl I saw the other day who had a button: "I (symbol) seals." The symbol is usually meant to be a heart, but in her case it was another symbol from the deck of card, the one that looks like clover and that is pronounced in English "club". A friend from Newfoundland gave it to her.
I remeber seeing Whale meat in buckets outside houses in the Faero Islands after a mass murdering many years ago. Nice place and wonderful people though.
Yes, we do hunt seals in Norway. We've been hunting seals for a couple of thousand years here, and we're not planning to stop soon.
The main reason for uploading this shot today was to get the "offensive" picture off the "four latest" on the home page, so that those who went back every ten seconds to see if they were still offended could finally get some rest.
But I couldn't find a good picture in a hurry, so I made do with a slightly controversial one.
That's a reason to post an image? You can't be serious?
If you couldn't find a 'good' picture quickly to post, then don't post anything until you have one. There's no hurry. This site will still be here when you find a decent image.
it's funny that seal skins are more offensive to me than nudity - but photographs of either arent offensive to me all! thanks for posting Ole - this isnt something you'd see much over here, so many of us may find this difficult, yet the same people would happily wear leather or buy sheepskin. we're a funny old lot.
Ahhh the good old days revisted via the random image generator.
