Seagulls In The Taconite Harbor

One fine day a rogue posse of photographers from Minnesota and Michigan gathered on the Lake Superior North Shore. On our way home we stopped in Two Harbord and farted around for a while.

These seagulls were sweeping the scene, probably looking for a handout.

Hope you enjoy.

This is incredible, Thomas. The fog (or mist) barely outlining the shape of the dock and edge in the distance, is so compelling against the sharper contrast of the gulls.

Stunning mood capture.

This is such a great spot. Last time I was there, it was about 30 below zero! Well done Thomas! The ore dock in the distance is very cool.

That was one cold freaking morning!! Zhu and I tell people about that day on a weekly basis. Thomas got a better picture than I did...Evan

Two Harbors is a wonderful place for photography! Endless possibilities.

It was cool of the gulls to pose just right for you Thomas. It makes a nice picture to remember this great area.
Best,
Jim

Great shot; good memories coming up from a round trip 'Lake Superior' in 2003. Grand Marais, Marquette & Germfask i remember well )
