The fence posts mirror the trunk of the trees - the tree is nicely isolated like a lone sentinal in a harsh environment! Given the shadow appears (or is it melt) appears under the tree the right side appears a little lighter than the left and looks a little unbalanced somehow! This is a great image though and one I'd like to have made.

Thanks Carl for the comments. it is shadow under the tree.
The unbalnaced effect you're talking about is due to the scan. on the real print there is not such difference. But I really don't waist time scanning my print.

Lovely. A slight burn to the middle right edge would really complete this. I love the fence posts in the background. Nice work. Shawn

just beautiful!!! Wonderful composition Christain. Is this from an enlarged negative or a print from the 6X6 negative?

this is a scan of the pd/pt print the 16x16" silver print I made is a little less warm even if I use warm tone matt paper with a warm tone developper

very nice, reminds me of AAs photo of oak tree covered in snow. The square format works well, it makes me want to go out with my twin reflex making photos this winter! Thanks for the image.
