Sea of Blood

The 'Sea of Blood' Art Installation at the Tower of Lndon ( England) which has all GONE now but I only just got my Fuji Velvia 50 E6 film processed with this photo on. It was all Ceramic Poppies, over 800,000 to commemorate the Fallen in WW I

Great pic, Pete. By all accounts the poppy installation was something special. I haven't heard of anyone being disappointed. On a technical note your slide proves the point often made on APUG when discussing colour balance that the sky is more cyanish than true blue on most occasions, especially in Northern latitudes and other than high summer
 
Boy it really does look like blood, doesn't it? And, oh yes, we are at the 100th anniversary of that atrocity, aren't we?

Yes, a hundred years ago but "lest we forget" we have merely replaced this atrocity with multiple atrocities all over this beautiful planet we call home. Where have all the flowers gone . . . long time passing . . . when will they ever learn? When will WE ever learn?
