Sea Ice, Antarctica

Sea Ice, Antarctica

Taken from RSV Aurora Australis as we were returning to Casey Station after rescuing passengers from the MV Akademik Shokalskiy.
I think this was a pretty effective use of vignetting from extreme front fall/rear rise.

Nice. Would be a great entry for the current MSA - "salt". (I assume it's frozen saltwater).

Beautiful image! I love it. The vignetting in the sky is wonderful.

Even is the photos weren't great, the use of a view camera in Antarctic conditions is, in itself, impressive.Konical
