Some images from an outing to a salvage place. Lots o' sinks.
You show these sinks to the great-grandkids and they say"Wow, these look old" You go misty-eyed and say "I remember the day when all taps looked like P51 propeller blades

The scene goes blurred, then clears and turns B&W to show a 1944 fighter airfield somewhere in the East of England. A Glenn Miller record is playing while the young mechanics work on the aircraft and the fighter pilots relax after escorting the B17s on another costly daylight raid.

It's the start of the film based on the Len Deighton book "Goodbye Mickey Mouse"

Well, its my start . We'll spit the proceeds if one of the film studios take up my script
