Like the idea, and the soft light is nice, maybe try and somehow fix a real egg in between the blades?

there is a real egg between the blades.
You need to see the real print and not this digital reproduction of it to get nice tones in the egg.....

Nice! The texture of the old steel is well shown, and contrasts nicely with the egg. We had these on the farm - they are sheep shears. Wonder if we have any around.
