In the scanner tutorial thread there was lots of discussion about scanning on the glass vs in holders. I uploaded a couple of examples, of which this is one of them. This is just a quick and dirty scan.
Not sure how much is down to the film may have a lot ore to do with the choice of developer.
I shoot a lot of Delta 100 120 & 5x4 and Delta 400 120, HP5 5x4, but I used to use Tmax 100 & 400 only only switching as it just wasn't available where I was living & travelling. But I also shoot Fomapan 100 & 200, again developed in Pyrocat HD, and I'm quite sure it's the developer, negatives print so easily in the darkroom and scans are equally as good.
I remember asking Sandy King why he wasn't using Pyrocat HD for his smaller format negatives, at the time he was using it for ULF negatives and hadn't realised how fine grained the results are with 35mm & 120
