I can't get the scanner to do these prints justice. These are scans of contact prints from some Edwardian glass negatives I bought of ebay for a a couple of pounds. Was really good fun printing them

Quite nice. In the scanner you may want to fiddle with the gamma; akin to contrast adjustment when printing them, to deal with the qualiy of the mid tones. May have been intentionally denser than we make now to deal with printing media in use at the time.
