Scales Moor

A shoot of Ingleborough from Scales Moor in the Yorkshire Dales.

This is a straight neg scan with no manipulation. I will over the coming weeks be in the darkroom printing as some burning and dodging etc is needed.

Just as a matter of interest, what parts of this would you dodge and burn? I'll declare my interest here by saying that it looks pretty good as it is and this includes the sky which seems to balance the rock and foreground.

Wow-one of my favourite places, but I've never found this view! I agree with pentaxuser - dont overdo the dodging and burning!

Thanks guys for the comments...perhaps I need to just do a straight print and see how it looks before any burning and dodging. I wont be so hastey until i've seen an initial work print.

Fantastic looks almost like an alien landscape the texture and tones are beautiful I agree with the other comments straight print will look stunning.
