This is one of your finest for many many reasons. I absolutely love this.

I'm shooting some 20 x 24 Alumitypes today! Nothing special mind you like the above but just trying to enjoy the pouring process etc. Got throw some mud on it if you want it to stick you know.

Very beautiful, Kerik. The well-balanced dark and light halves of the neg, the contrast between the objects and then the great touch of the rubber band to bring it all back down to earth. Very enjoyable image.

I find it interesting how you used a (boar's?) skull to display the hair of your daughter. Was she born in the year of the boar perhaps? (1995)
As usual your still-lifes are very well crafted. This is great.

Thanks, guys. Thomas - I wish I was that clever... It's actually a warthog skull. You know, like Pumbaa from the Lion King. So maybe that's the connection - she loved that movie when she was little. In reality, I just looked around the studio and thought "hey, that mike look cool..."
