Although it could use some PS. Try to change the levels to fit the greys. Maybe blur some of the shadow area with gaussian blur...
 
Thanks for the comments. I've had a few people say that it had a Minor White quality to it, but not a Brett Weston one. That gives me a lot to think about. EOS, thanks for the input about PS. I'll try and spend more time making the scan look better next time. dlin, I may have some extra prints later but I'm swamped trying to proof and print 100 negs right now. Thanks again Matt, Don and everyone.
 
James a beautiful capture and I love the composition. The way you have angled this one so that the rocks lead the eye to the boulder is perfection.
 
The Cosmic Egg.
And Wynn Bullock comes to mind, with his channeling of the spirit in inanimate objects.
