Sande Bay

From the first roll of film through my DIY 6x17.

The camera was at least light tight. I need to adjust the film gate to get it perfectly plane with the lens as there is some distortion to the right on the picture. But not too bad for a first effort. Excuse the scanning artifacts, the neg is too big for my film holders, so I had to put it straight onto the glass.

Also my first effort with HP5+ in Caffenol-C-H (RSA)

this is very nice. Too bad you didn't shoot it on home-brewed emulsion. Then you'd have a complete DIY image, from the camera, to the developer, to the negative holder!
Also, very nice exposure, you somehow managed to get detail throughout most of the image, looks great!

I love my 6x17 da yi camera. With my 90mm caltar ii lens and enlarging it on photoshop to see how sharp at extreme enlargement it would look like. It held together at 5x17. No grain using acufine developer tri-x at 1600 asa. Just have nothing good enough to post yet. But this image is really good and I love how it was composed.

Thank you both
