San Simeon Pier

Color zone plate image of San Simeon Pier. This pier was constructed by W.R. Hearst and used primarily to ship things to Hearst Castle after it was built. Before the Castle was built, the pier served as a place for ships to drop off the various pieces of all the old buildings and whatnot that comprise the Hearst Castle. Here, color zone plate fooled me in the rain on a very very overcast day. The highlights blew out but still they left me with a ghostly image of the pier which I think is so .... dreamy. Enjoy!
