the dome "bleeding" into the sky and getting lost tonally seems to work against the image. maybe trying to get some differenciation (is that a word) would help.
I like the lines and geometry you captured. I know from experience how nice the light and shadows are down there and you did a nice job of choosing when you shot this. I think a place like San Jose has alot of potential with a wide angle and the square format. thanks for sharing this I hope to see some more.

Well the classic shot is taken more from the right, where there are a series of arches, wide angle lens and square format lets you capture this nicely.
