I have edited the 4 salt print images I uploaded last night to try and achieve a closer likeness to the originals. I scanned and set them originally on my laptop - stupid! Its monitor is pretty useless so have now done them on my desktop monitor and they are very much better (but certainly not perfect)

These salt prints are gorgeous, and very fitting subjects you have put on film to print. The old stuff is particularly enjoyable to see. I appreciate that you have put these inspiring examples up here; it motivates me. I hope to take some of these alternative processes soon. I have been using a 8x10 camera mostly because i need to contact print, since i can't enlarge this size negative. It just seems so stinking natural to go the the "next level" of beauty in photographic prints.
