Salt from Slide

Seeing what salted paper prints from some old slides looks like. Not quite the same as an original negative, but brings a pleasant interpretation, I think.

Internegative on Kodak 2430 dupe film developed as gently as I could.

This is from a 9.5" x 700 ft. roll of Kodak Fine Grain Aerial Duplicating Film 2430 on Estar base that I scored off eBay last year for little more than shipping cost. It's blue sensitive only, meant for duplicating existing negatives, but I just shoot it.* It's close to perfect for my whole plate camera -- I just need to trim an inch off the length to make it fit my holders.

*To be honest, and between you and me, I dove back in to salted printing because it's very hard to print these negatives to my taste on regular paper, even at grade 1. So I'm matching the process to my film stash.
