13th Century bridge over the River Avon. The highlight in the water was almost all white in the straight print so I have burned this part at grade 0 through a hole in a piece of card (possibly too much). The sky is bright overcast and no burning will bring detail there.
@Afselius Thank you. I love the reflections of the bridge in the water. The printing contrast and exposure was absolutely critical to get this detail to show properly. The water is filtered through chalk before it flows in to the river so it is crystal clear and teeming with fish. This bridge was a stop on a lovely walk. I would have liked to have taken some more photographs here but there were some "street drinkers" hanging around on a nearby bench. They caused no trouble but I felt a bit uneasy with all of my equipment and they were actually sitting where I would have got a better shot so this is all I got.
Thank you very much four your response. The reflections makes the sense - for me- for the beauty of the picture, as well as the technical stuffs you used.
