As when posting before, once up on APUG is appears somewhat darker and with increased contrast over what I see directly on my computer screen. Unlike posts, no way to "edit" the image after posting. Next time I'll render it too light on my screen, which may make it appear less dark on the APUG rendering.
But it is possible to replace the entire image after the initial post, if you like. Just click on Image Tools in the upper right-hand corner of the image viewing page, followed by Edit Image. Then the fourth option down in the right-hand column is Replace Image. You can also rework the original image notes from this location.
I've used this to replace initial negative scans with later print scans when darkroom time to print them became available.
