Intriguing, Peter. I presume this is the equivalent of liquid light printing. What material are the sails made of and were you curious enough to ask how it was done and given that they are exposed to the weather how long the pictures had lasted?
Morning PU, I believe they are made of stainless steel and are actually on the front wall of the Nairn Sailing Club. Depending on where you stand (and if you're brave enough to stand on the fence opposite!), you get reflections of the yachts and the harbour itself. It was taken as an entry for an "Abstract" comp, and it can be darkened to show more detail in the reflection.
Thanks Peter. So a reflection on stainless steel and not liquid light. I suppose I should have thought why the rest of the sail is pure white if it was a liquid light print. I had assumed the "printer" favoured a kind of an abstraction. The simple explanation is usually the correct one
