The sun going down over Saganashkee Slough, in Lemont, Ill. A slough is a shallow lake or swamp. Saganashkee Slough is part of the Cook County Forest Preserve System. The photo was taken in October of 1981. Print made November, 1981 on 8” x 10” paper. (Previously posted, but long since deleted.)
